the hard arch inserts feel very uncomfortable for me so I gave these a try. Terrific design, work for me, plus the price is cheaper. I would recommend them to anyone looking for arch support but not the firm type. (Posted on 8/28/10)

The Spenco arch cushions really help to correct my over-pronation problem. They were recommended by a physical therapist a while back and finally I got some to try. I work for a delivery company and although I may not stand up all day, I am constantly getting up, moving around and walking back and forth from my truck to make deliveries. I started using the spenco arch cushions about a year ago and this is the first time I ever wore out a pair of shoes before I had to replace them because the heels got so rounded off that I could no longer walk with them. These obviously work and I recommend them to my friends and co-workers. I just got another two pairs not because the ones I had were wore out but because I figured that after a year of heavy use, it may be time to replace them. I had plantar fasiitis and had to think long and hard before I ventured off on a long walk of any kind. I tried all kinds of firm arch supports and nothing seemed to help. After a short talk with your customer service people, I tried the arch cushion and it sure has made a tremendous difference. I now go for walks all the time and never have to think about my feet.
