The foot is a precision piece of machinery which is fundamental for our movement and daily activities. On average, we walk over 115,000 miles during our lifetime. Feet are living shock absorbers. Consider when walking, each step puts up to 1.5 – 2 times your body weight on your feet. Running exerts even more, 3 – 3.5 times your body weight on the feet.
